Unfortunately, our Karma Yogi program as we have it at Balanzs does not apply to our Pilatezs studio.

Some teachers offer physical adjustments during the reformer pilates class; they will always ask for your permission before touching you. If you prefer not to be touched, let your teacher know that you would prefer them to provide verbal cues to support the pose you are in.

All lost and found items are kept in our studio for one month, so no worries! If you stop by the studio 10 minutes before or after a class, one of our instructors can help you look through our lost and found items. Any items that have not been picked up after a month will be donated to charity.

During your pregnancy, there are opportunities to attend Reformer classes with us. If you are in your first trimester, you can safely join. When you enter your second or third trimester we do not recommend you to join anymore, unless this is with a specifically trained teacher. If you do want to join pilates reformer classes in your second or third trimester, please email us at hallo@balanzs.nl so we can connect you with the right specialized instructors.

Classes and Bookings

Sometimes your favorite class gets booked quickly… luckily, we offer a waitlist option! If the class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist. When a spot becomes available, everyone on the waitlist will receive a notification via email. The first person to respond will be added to the class. This automatic email is sent at the latest 1 hour before the start of the class, after which the waitlist is closed. It’s possible that last-minute cancellations occur. Keep an eye on our schedule to see if spots open up, and then sign up via our schedule.

All our classes are accessible to everyone. You can find the intensity of the class in the schedule. Our instructors are trained to make the class appealing to everyone and to offer adjustments that suit the level and experience of the student.

Experiencing a class is the best way to find out if it’s the right fit for you. That’s why we offer new students an introductory deal. We offer a wide variety of class styles, from calm and functional to more active and cardio-focused. You can find the different class styles here.

To book a class, visit our schedule at pilatezs.nl/schedule and go to the class you would like to attend. You can book up to 14 days in advance. At the top left of your screen, you’ll find a filter to select your city or favorite studio, making it easier to find the class(es) of your choice. To read a full description of the class, click on the ‘I’ icon. When you’re ready to reserve the class, click on ‘Book/Reserveer’.

If there are available products in your account (such as a class card, single class, or a membership), you can select one to pay for your class. Then click the ‘Book’ button to finalize your reservation.

If there are currently no active products available in your account, you can select the product of your choice and then enter your credit card number or select another payment method. Accept our Terms and Conditions by checking the box, then click on ‘Confirm Payment’.

Your purchase is now complete and your class is reserved. A confirmation email is on its way. Have a great class!

Your current bookings are visible in your account on your Dashboard. You can access your account by clicking on Login at the top right of the screen. Then select the ‘Overview’ tab. If you do not see the class you wish to cancel, adjust the location of your class on the left side of the screen. Studio classes can be canceled free of charge up to 12 hours in advance.

Our doors close on time, and once a class has started, it is no longer possible to gain access to our studio and participate in the class. If you’re unsure whether you can attend one of our classes due to other commitments, you can always come to our studio and register for the class on the spot (if there is space available). Because you have reserved a spot, we must charge for the class in case of a late cancellation (less than 12 hours before the class starts) or a no-show. In case of force majeure, you can always email or call us so we can consider your options together.

This varies by instructor. Some instructors teach all styles, while others specialize in one or a few styles.

Pricing and Memberships

Visiting us for the first time? You can take advantage of our introductory offer or purchase a single class.

If you visit us regularly, a monthly subscription is likely the most cost-effective option for you. Do you attend one reformer class every week? Then the Pilatezs Sometimes subscription is most suitable for you. Do you attend two yoga classes every week? Then the Pilatezs Regular subscription is a good option for you. Do you attend more than 2 classes per week? Choose Pilatezs Dedicated as the most cost-effective option.

We also offer class cards.

Would you like to combine classes with those at Balanzs? You can! Opt for the combination subscriptions to come 4, 8, or 12 times a month. At 4x, that would be 2 Balanzs classes and 2 Pilatezs classes, and so on. These subscriptions will be valid from the moment the studio opens.

You can start a subscription at any time; there’s no need to wait for the first day of a new month! You can also choose a start date when purchasing your subscription on the website.

Great! Go to the pricing page to see the options we offer and select the class card or subscription of your choice. You can check out directly by paying with iDeal, credit card, or direct debit.

Yes, you can make use of your Creditcard with us.

 

No, it is not possible to sign up for a membership at our studios. However, you can purchase a single class or one of our class cards at our studio. Since our memberships are automatically renewed each month, they need to be purchased through our website. This allows you to review our Terms and Conditions and authorize us to deduct the monthly cost of your subscription.

Depending on which card you have, it is valid for a specific number of months. We only extend the validity under exceptional circumstances. You can find the validity of your card on our pricing page or in your account.

Class cards cannot be paused. The special offers with a duration of 6 months can be paused once during this period, for a maximum of one month. If you have a regular Pilatezs Sometimes, Pilatezs Regular, or Pilatezs Dedicated subscription, you can take breaks between two payment periods. To cancel your subscription or take a break between two payment periods, send us an email requesting cancellation/pausing. Make sure we receive this request in writing at least 10 working days before the expiration date of your current subscription term, otherwise, we can only implement these changes after the next month.

To make changes to your membership, you need to contact us in writing at hallo@balanzs.nl. If you wish to adjust your membership level, these changes will take effect from the next month. Please ensure that you submit your request at least 10 working days before the end of your current payment term so that we can process the change in time.

Yes, that’s possible. Since you already have a subscription with us, you pay only €22.50 for this additional class instead of €25. Once you’ve used all your classes for the current period, the option to purchase single classes at this reduced rate will automatically become visible when you go to pay for your next class!

We do not offer refunds on products that have already been purchased.

Absolutely! If you send an email to hallo@balanzs.nl with valid proof of your (student) ID, we will send you a 10% discount code that you can use.

New to Pilatezs

Fantastic, welcome to Pilatezs! We’re honored that you’re trying out a reformer pilates class for the first time at our beautiful studio. You are welcome in any class, and there will always be an explanation of how the Reformer machine works. There is a difference in the intensity of the classes, so please check the schedule carefully to see which one you prefer. We also offer Reformer Fundamental classes, which are specifically suitable for first-timers who want to gently start with the basic exercises on the Reformer.

 

Wear comfortable (sports) clothing during the Reformer classes. You might also want to bring a sweater.

For Pilates Reformer, you should wear grip socks, which are available in various types and price ranges online. We also sell them at the studio.

Additionally, you can bring a water bottle and possibly a towel. We do not have shower facilities at the studio, but there is a changing room available.

Account and Login

Absolutely! After making a purchase, you will receive a confirmation email from us, which includes a link to download your invoice. You can then use this invoice for personal administration or forward it to your employer if they reimburse (part of) your purchases.

Your username is typically your email address. Click on the Login button at the top right of the page and enter the email address you previously used with us. You will then receive an email from Bsport with a link to change your password. It’s possible that this message could end up in your spam folder. Didn’t receive an email?
