kindful practices we follow at pilatezs

give yourself time

We advise giving yourself time to arrive 10 minutes prior to the beginning of class.

The teacher will welcome you at the desk and will guide you to the dressing room and Reformers. When ready, take a seat at the Reformer and wait until the teacher arrives to start the class.

We kindly request that you take off your shoes and leave them at the entrance in the designated shelves to help keep our studios clean.

come prepared

Please leave your bags and belongings in the changing room and only take inside the studio what is necessary: your grip socks, a water bottle, towel and perhaps a sweater. We also sell grip socks at the studio.

We lock the studio during class times so your things are safe.

disconnect for an hour

Relax your mind (and those fingers)

Please leave your phones in the dressing room and refrain from bringing them in the studio.

Allow yourself to be free from distractions, live in the moment in your practice.

If you’re on call or have an emergency line and must have your phone with you, please let your teacher know prior to class.

getting ready

The teacher will guide you to a Reformer and you wait there until the class starts. Your teacher will explain how to set up the Reformer and will support you during class to make sure the class is modified to your experience & strength. Remember, all our classes are open for everyone to join.

it's ok to laugh and have fun

Don’t take yourself too seriously, we’re all here to have fun, practice, and learn.

Be kind to your fellow students and neighbours, give them a smile, it releases serotonin and endorphins, preparing you for a great practice ahead!

It’s ok to have fun and laugh at Pilatezs 🤍

after class

After class you are kindly requested to clean your Reformer with the tools provided by you by the teacher. You can get your belongings at the dressing room and there’s time for a brief chat with the teacher at the desk. Please join us in creating a kind yet effective transition between classes, ensuring the students after you have the same experience you had.
