I am completely new to reformer pilates! Where do I start?
Fantastic, welcome to Pilatezs! We’re honored that you’re trying out a reformer pilates class for the first time at our beautiful studio. You are welcome in any class, and there will always be an explanation of how the reformer machine works. There is a difference in the intensity of the classes, so please check the schedule carefully to see which one you prefer. We also offer reformer fundamental classes, which are specifically suitable for first-timers who want to gently start with the basic exercises on the reformer.
What do I need to bring to my first class?
Wear comfortable (sports) clothing during the reformer classes. You might also want to bring a sweater. For reformer pilates, you should wear grip socks, which are available in various types and price ranges online. We also sell them at the studio. Additionally, you can bring a water bottle and possibly a towel. At location Javastraat we do not have shower facilities at the studio, but there is a changing room available.

We offer a wide range of different classes, which you can view on the Pilatezs styles page.
Are all classes suitable for all levels?
All our classes are accessible to everyone. You can find the intensity of the class in the schedule. Our instructors are trained to make the class appealing to everyone and to offer adjustments that suit the level and experience of the student.
